Culture and Extracurricular 

At Harvest High School, learners are encouraged to explore their talents, express themselves confidently and make a positive difference in their community.

Harvest participates in the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists, where our learners have proudly earned both bronze and silver awards for their creativity, research and innovative thinking.

Our learners also take part in the SALA National Public Speaking Competition. Over the past two years, three Harvest learners have progressed to the national stage in public speaking and poetry presentation. An additional learner received a silver award for her exceptional poetry-writing skills.

The Harvest choir continues to make us proud through performances at the LHS Choir Evening and various local churches. Their talent, dedication and uplifting performances have made a lasting impression within our local community.

Service is equally important at Harvest. Every term, our school supports the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) by encouraging eligible learners and staff to donate blood and help save lives.

Through cultural, academic and community-service activities, Harvest develops confident, creative and compassionate learners who are prepared to use their talents to serve others.
